A Hot Day in Germany!

Yesterday, Ambrose and I hung out with our friends Susan and Nate. Nate's dad is in the Navy, too. Mom desperately wanted to get out of the house to run a few errands and planned to drop a few things off for baby Nate on the way. Since Susan and Nate were dying to get out too, we asked them to join us. Ambrose and Nate are almost exactly one year apart and Ambrose really likes his dog, Hoogin.

It was so hot yesterday that we decided last minute to go explore a shaded park in nearby Kaiserslautern. Susan saw it when she and Toby were dropping friends off at the train station on Sunday. The train takes passengers to the airport in Frankfurt, which turns out to be very handy for visitors!

Half-naked after he fell on his tushy and got his butt wet. He didn't like that, so we had to take his clothes off... the diaper came off later and paraded for a few minutes in the buff before getting a fresh, dry diaper.
